ELDR Consulting

Business Analyst II

A mid-level delivery and analysis role for consultants ready to lead workstreams, own client-facing deliverables, and grow toward senior advisory capability.

Level: Associate (2–5 Years) Type: Full-Time · Hybrid Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada

About the Role

The Business Analyst II operates with increasing independence on ELDR Consulting engagements — leading workstreams, managing client interactions, and producing deliverables with less direct oversight than at the BA I level. You will take ownership of discrete components of larger programmes, interface directly with client teams, and begin developing the advisory instincts that distinguish a senior consultant. This is a growth role: we expect Business Analyst IIs to be on a clear path to Consultant or Senior Analyst within 24 months.

Responsibilities

  • Lead defined workstreams within ELDR Consulting engagements, managing scope, timeline, and output quality
  • Conduct stakeholder interviews, requirements workshops, and current-state process assessments with client teams
  • Produce business analysis and consulting deliverables — process maps, requirements specifications, gap analyses, and governance artefacts — to client-ready standard
  • Manage client relationships at working and mid-level stakeholder tiers with growing confidence and independence
  • Contribute to project risk identification and issue resolution in collaboration with the delivery lead
  • Mentor and support Business Analyst I team members embedded in shared engagements
  • Contribute to proposal development and scoping exercises with growing commercial awareness

Requirements

  • 2–5 years of experience in business analysis, consulting, or programme delivery in a professional services or regulated enterprise environment
  • Demonstrated ability to lead workstreams and produce client-ready analytical deliverables independently
  • Strong facilitation, communication, and structured problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in standard consulting tools: process mapping (Visio, Lucidchart, Miro), project tracking (Jira, MS Project), and documentation platforms (Confluence, SharePoint)
  • Working knowledge of at least one regulated industry — financial services, healthcare, government, or manufacturing
  • Undergraduate degree required; progress toward relevant professional certification (PMP, CBAP, or equivalent) an asset

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in a management consulting or professional services firm
  • Exposure to regulatory environments — SOX, ISO, NIST, OSFI, or HIPAA
  • Experience with Agile delivery methodologies and associated tooling
  • CBAP, PMI-PBA, or equivalent certification in progress or completed

What We Offer

  • Workstream leadership and client-facing delivery from day one
  • Mentorship structure and clear pathway to Consultant / Senior Analyst
  • Broad industry and regulatory exposure across ELDR's consulting portfolio
  • Toronto hybrid with competitive compensation and professional development support
